NEWS 2015

February 7th 2015:
Last year was a great year for us, Katie being our first sheltie champion in Norway and Denmark, and being top winning sheltie in Norway. Our new addition Lily has done well at her first few shows, winning two CACs and being top junior bitch of the year.

Most show news we publish on Facebook, but again this year I'm hoping to update this website now and then!

Katie is expecting puppies, and we are hoping to breed from Betty later this year.

2014

March 12th
Crufts 2014: Zoe wins veteran bitch and Katie wins yearling bitch and the RCC! This is the first time I've shown our dogs at Crufts, so I'm over the moon. Thank you to judge Mrs Lynn Roberts (Malaroc).

Website is finally updated after two years!
Last year we lost our first two dogs, both were old and had had a good life here with us, and they will never be forgotten.
The past two years have otherwise been very good for us, amongst other things Sofie finally moved to England which she has always wanted to, Zoe is now a UK show champion and her daughter Katie is a CC-winner. Alphi is now a full norwegian champion, having done well working and showing. Pepita is retired from competition, but Eva is now doing well in agility with Betty.

We are planning sheltie litters later this year and 2015.

Hopefully I will be able to update more often from now on, but as most happens on social media these days it's easy to forget!

2012

March 7th
'Our breeding' page is updated. Kerenza's A Man Is A Man got his 2nd CAC some weeks ago, for judge Eivind Mjærum. Kerenza's All of Me got 2nd best bitch and resCAC at the same weekend, while their mother Alpenglow Tally-Ho of Kelimoor was 3rd best bitch. NordCh Leeland Queen of Art has been shown four times this year, getting best bitch/BOS three times and 4th best bitch once (at the int.show in Bø).

2011

December 19th
Zoe got CAC and CACIB at the Nordic Winner Show in Stockholm Dec 10th, and is now a swedish champion! Now her title is NordCh (Leeland Queen of Art).

A couple of weeks ago, Penny (NVCH Deesides Miss Moneypenny) was at an obedience trial in Sweden, where she got 1st prize in Elite class (equals CAC).

As I haven't updated a lot this year, I have not posted lots of results. The peak of the year was probably when Zoe was, for the 3rd time, BOB at the sheltie speciality show for judge Gill Partridge (UK), with 109 entries.

New also this year is that we have now got a smooth coat fox terrier in the kennel, Svarthuvans Batman. Having a terrier is something I have long dreamed about, so it is very exciting!

July 7th
Have been very bad at updating the last 6 months, but here is a summary of what's happened!
Alphi got her 2nd CAC last weekend, judge was Filip Johnsson.
Pepita got her 3rd agility CAC at the same show, which made her an agility champion! Not long before that, she also got her blood tracking (bad translation) champion title, now she is NUCH NVCH NACH Statesman Deep Purple!
Zoe got BOB and CAC in Denmark in March, so now she is NUCH DKUCH Leeland Queen of Art!
Penny also got her blood tracking champion title, so she is NVCH Deeside's Miss Moneypenny!

Long time since last update! A lot has happened since last time. Zoe's puppies are all sold to loving homes. We wish the new owners good luck!
Penny, Alphi and Pepita has done very well at blood-tracking trials (blodsporprøver). Penny is now a champion in this! Alphi got a 1st prize (equals CAC) at her first try, and Pepita also has 2x1st prizes. At one trial she was the best dog of the day with prize of honour (HP)!

We showed both Nora and Herman (Kerenza's A Kind of Hush) at the Nordic winner show in November, and they both were second in their classes with big entries, and both got CK!
At the same show, Pepita and Eva competed in agility, and they got their second CAC! Pepita only needs one "small" CAC in agility and another 1st prize in blood tracking to gain two new titles, in addition to the show title she already has got. I also have to mention that she competes in obedience class 3...

Another news we have not published yet is that Alphi got a 2nd prize in beginner class (2BK) at a hunting test in September! This was an ordinary hunting test (ordinær jaktprøve) arranged by the Norwegian Retriever club, Oslo.

In a few days a new addition will arrive at kennel Kerenza. More info will come!
